Terms & conditions
Plain terms for a simple app. If anything below is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By downloading or using the LifeMap app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. LifeMap is made by wee (“we”, “us”).
2. What LifeMap is, and isn't
LifeMap is a personal organisation tool. It helps you record where the important parts of your life are, and share that map with people you trust. It is not legal, financial or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a will, power of attorney or other formal arrangements. For those, please speak to a qualified professional.
3. Your information is yours
Everything you put into LifeMap remains yours. It is stored on your device and we hold no copy. Because of that, you are responsible for keeping your device and its backups safe, and for the accuracy of what you record. Our privacy policy explains this in plain language.
4. Please don't store passwords
LifeMap is designed to point to what matters, not to hold secrets. Please do not enter passwords, PINs or similar credentials into the app. A dedicated password manager is the right home for those.
5. Sharing responsibly
Sharing your LifeMap is always your choice. Please only share it with people you genuinely trust, and remember that once someone has a copy, what they do with it is between you and them.
6. Fair use of the app
You agree to use LifeMap lawfully and not to copy, resell, reverse engineer or interfere with the app or the services behind it.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep LifeMap dependable, but we cannot promise the app will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or discontinue features over time. Where a change to these terms matters, we will update this page and the date above.
8. Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the app, including loss of data on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
10. Questions
